NSA boys’ basketball stumbles

The losses have piled up this week for the Nansemond-Suffolk Academy boys’ basketball team. It fell 82-31 to host Cape Henry Collegiate School, one of the top teams in the nation.
Sophomore guard Morgan Wentz led the Saints with 13 points and senior center John Hogan had 10.
On Thursday, NSA lost 55-36 to host Norfolk Collegiate School. Junior forward C.J. Patterson led the Saints with 10 points.
On Tuesday, Norfolk Academy gained control of a game that was tied 21-21 at halftime, defeating the visiting Saints 60-37. NSA had 16 second-half turnovers.
Senior center Matt Newhall led the visitors with 13 points.
Nansemond-Suffolk hosts Peninsula Catholic High School on Monday.
