AT&T robber sought

Suffolk police are asking the public for help finding a suspect who robbed a North Main Street AT&T store at gunpoint on Sunday.
The robbery took place at about 4:52 p.m. at the AT&T store in the 1200 block of North Main Street, according to a city spokeswoman.
In a press release about the incident, Diana Klink stated that a black male entered the store, displayed a handgun and demanded money.
The suspect is described as a light- to fair-skinned black male with bushy eyebrows, a wide nose with large nostrils, approximately 30 to 35 years old, 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 8 inches and weighing 160 to 190 pounds. He was wearing a black hoodie and dark blue jeans.
The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of money, according to Klink, who stated that no one was injured in the robbery.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP. Callers to Crime Line do not have to give their names or appear in court. If information leads to an arrest, the caller could qualify for a reward of up to $1,000.
