Suffolk’s semi-professional football team, the Chargers, will be holding open tryouts on Saturday at John F. Kennedy Middle School, 2325 E. Washington St. The tryouts will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Coach David Turner and new-coming coaches Richie Ruffin and Tony Bateman will be looking for serious and dedicated players, ages 18 and up, at all positions as the Chargers prepare for the spring season in the Atlantic Coast Football Alliance.

The registration fee of $45 is due on Saturday.
