One person was airlifted to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with serious injuries following a three-car accident at the intersection of Sleepy Hole Road and Bennett’s Pasture Road on Saturday afternoon.

The accident happened at 3:46 p.m. Two other victims suffered minor injuries.

The intersection was closed for almost three hours while police investigated.
