Shaikeyla Jordan, a 2013 graduate of King’s Fork High School, has received a $500 scholarship from New Paul’s Temple Holiness Church of Deliverance to help pursue her college career. Shaikeyla has been accepted to Chowan University in North Carolina, where she will be majoring in exercise science. She also plans to pursue her basketball career, as she will be playing for the Chowan basketball team. She is the daughter of Jennifer Mason of Suffolk.
