Althaus Duckworth

Althaus “Dee-Dee” Duckworth, 59, a native of Portsmouth who moved to Memphis, Tenn., at an early age, passed away on Nov. 26, 2013.

She is survived by five sisters, including Arlethia (Charlie) Ward, of Suffolk, and four brothers, including Matthew (Mamie) Williams, of Portsmouth.

A wake was held Friday, Dec. 6, from 5:30 to 8 p.m., and the funeral service will be Saturday, Dec. 7, at 10 a.m. at M.J. Edwards Funeral Home in Memphis.
