World Class shines in Commonwealth Cup

Members of the World Class Gymnastics team competed Nov. 23-24 in Fredericksburg during the 2013 Commonwealth Cup. Individual and team results were as follows:
Level 10
- Senior: Taylor Harrison, 1st vault 9.625, 1st bars 9.55, 1st beam 9.35, 1st floor 9.5, 1st all around 38.025; Katherine “KC” Locher, 2nd vault 9.35, 3rd bars 9.0, 2nd beam 8.975, 3rd floor 9.25, 2nd all around 36.575; Jamie Stone, 3rd vault 9.3, 2nd bars 9.325
- Junior: Kourtney Chinnery, 1st vault 9.575, 2nd beam 8.4, 1st floor 9.3, 1st all around 35.1; Hope Nelson, 2nd floor 9.15
World Class Gymnastics took first-place team with a score of 111.20 to GMS Gymnastics’ 102.025.
Level 9
- Senior: Tyra Kinloch-Bailey, 2nd vault 9.325, 3rd bars 9.2, 1st beam 8.52nd floor 9.15, 1st all around 36.175; Katie Tudor, 1st vault 9.4; Hayley Hartfiel, 1st floor 9.375
- Junior: Melinda Anselmo, 2nd floor 9.25

World Class Gymnastics took second-place team with a score of 109.050 to Docksiders’ 109.520.

World Class Gymnastics took second-place team with a score of 111.7 to GMS Gymnastics’ 112.250.

World Class Gymnastics took first-place team with a score of 111.250 to Richmond Olympiad’s 109.810.
World Class Gymnastics took overall 1st Place Optional Club from the 14 optional teams competing at The Commonwealth Cup.
