The Suffolk Art League will hold its annual bridge, games and fashion show fundraiser on May 2.

The fun-filled event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Suffolk Art Gallery (formerly the Suffolk Museum) at 118 Bosley Ave. Tickets are $20 per person.

“This is the first year that we’ve done this event, but we feel like it’s going to be a really fun day,” said Linda Bunch, executive director of the Suffolk Art League. “There will be food, friends, fun and fashion.”

Participants are encouraged to get a table of friends together to enjoy a day of cards and fine fashions by Denison’s. The event also will include a luncheon and raffle.

Raffle items include a tea for six at OutRAGEous, gift certificates from Edible Arrangements, Divine Creations and Plaid Turnip, a hand-painted birdhouse gourd from Shooting Star Gallery and more.

Tickets for the raffle are $2 each or three for $5.

The event supports summer education programs such as Summer Art Days, Art Camps and one-day workshops for both children and adults. Proceeds from the fundraiser help offset costs of instructors and materials.

“We’re trying to raise money to help support our summer programs,” Bunch said. “We like to keep those at the most reasonable cost that we can.”
