The Heritage High School girls’ volleyball team hosted Nansemond River High School on Tuesday evening and was handed a 25-16, 25-11, 25-23 loss.

For the Lady Warriors, junior Morgan Lowers was quite active offensively, generating seven kills, five aces and 10 assists. Senior Tatyana Thomas had nine kills and three blocks while senior Rachel Kent also had nine kills to go with three aces.

Nansemond River sophomore Camryn Holt had 23 assists and senior Cassidy Feldt chipped in six digs and two aces.

The Lady Warriors (12-2, 7-0) saw Thursday’s game moved to a different date. Their next scheduled contest is on Tuesday at home against Denbigh High School.
