The King’s Fork High School golf team fell well short against Hickory High School on Monday at Cahoon Plantation Golf Course, as the Hawks prevailed, 332-383.

Senior Griffen Saylor earned a share of the medalist honor with Hickory’s Bret Swanson, as each shot rounds of 79 on the par-72 course.

Also notable for the Bulldogs was Will Crow with an 86 and Jacob Nguyen and Rebecca Bangley with rounds of 109.

King’s Fork has concluded its listed regular season schedule with a record of 2-8.
