Now, students can conduct quick and easy research using the internet for any topic that they wish. Because children have that opportunity, they can gain more skills and knowledge than we ever thought possible. That is why it is so crucial that we continue to support our libraries.

Supporters must make it known that libraries need to be considered when writing and revising budgets. Extracurricular classes are the first to go and many people see the library as just that.

But the library is not just a resource, it is essential to the growth and knowledge of our future: our children.
