Mary Elizabeth Wyatt, 68, a resident of Timberville, passed away Aug. 6 at Life Care Center of New Market. She was married to the late Roland Michael “Mike” Wyatt, who passed Oct. 15, 2009.

She was the daughter of the late John E. Bunch and Carrie (Riddick) Bunch, of Suffolk. She is survived by her children, Raymond C. Rice Jr. and wife, Beverly, of Virginia Beach, John Louise Rice, of Tennessee, John Michael Rice Sr. and wife, Rachel, of Rawlings, Md., and Terri Lynn Thorne and husband, Dale, of Charlottesville; her brother, Nat Bunch, of Suffolk, and sister, Laura Lane, of Fayetteville, N.C.; her Wyatt family of Shelton Wyatt, of Portsmouth, Ernest “Pee-Wee” Wyatt, Doris and husband Runt, Iris “Butch” Jones, all of Suffolk. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Brandon Rice and wife, Courtney, of Windsor, and great-grandchildren Marcella, Abby, John Michael Rice Jr., of Rawlings, Md., and Bryson Rice of Windsor; and numerous special nieces and nephews, Robert Johnson, of Salem, and Jerry Johnson and wife Wanda, of Roanoke; and her special pet “Angel.”

No memorial service will be held, at Mary’s request. In lieu of flowers, she requested donations to the Alzheimer’s Foundation or the American Diabetes Association.
