Chowan University has announced the President’s List honorees for Spring 2013. President’s List honorees are full-time students who have accomplished a grade-point average of 3.8 or better for the semester. This distinction will become part of their official record.

The five area students who made the President’s List are:

• Terese Elam, a senior elementary education major from Windsor
• Jennifer Humphrey, a sophomore history major from Suffolk
• Sarah Hurst, a junior English major from Carrsville
• Jasmine McDonald, a senior elementary education major from Suffolk
• Sally Rensch, a senior elementary education major from Carrsville.
