Conner earns TowneBank post

Anne Conner has been named the President of Public Finance and Community Investment, a new division of TowneBank, company officials announced.
This division will be responsible for managing TowneBank’s portfolio of tax-advantaged assets, including industrial revenue bonds and new-market, low-income and historic tax credits.
Conner has experience in identifying, underwriting and managing specialized revenue bonds and tax credits. In addition to these primary tasks, she will also administer TowneBank’s 1031 Exchange program in partnership with Ute Heidenreich, executive vice president and general counsel.
Conner previously served as President of TowneBank Williamsburg. She will be based in the bank’s Suffolk office for her new position.
Brian Skinner, President of TowneBank Peninsula, will assume the responsibility of leading TowneBank’s Williamsburg region, while continuing to lead the Peninsula region.
