Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class Jonathan K. Jarman, whose wife, Michelle, is the daughter of Colleen La Coste of Suffolk, was recently selected as Junior Instructor of the Quarter at the Center for Surface Combat, Naval Air Station Oceana.

Jarman was chosen as the top performer from among all the sailors assigned to the command and was cited for outstanding professional accomplishment, proficiency, leadership, initiative and military bearing.
