Suffolk’s Lauren Doughtie improved on Thursday’s performance at the Kingsmill Championship in Williasmburg with a three-over 74 on Friday, but her two-day score of nine-over 151 proved too high to make the cut.

The tourney was the first Virginia-based Ladies Professional Golf Association event that Doughtie had competed in since becoming a member of the LPGA Tour.
