Landrus, Galford are wed

Ashlee Brooke Landrus and Eric Steven Galford were married during a 3 p.m. ceremony March 16, 2013 at Colosse Baptist Church in Windsor.
The double-ring ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Tim Webb of Windsor.
The bride is the daughter of Angela and Bill Minga, and Jeffrey Dale Landrus Sr., all of Windsor. She is the granddaughter of Ruby Jones of Smithfield and the late Annette West of Smithfield.
The groom is the son of Donald and Connie Galford of Windsor. He is the grandson of Audra and Donald Galford of Oakhill, W.Va., Dorothy Queen of Oakhill, and Russell Moore of Fayetteville, W.Va.
The bride was escorted by her father and given away in marriage by her parents.
The wedding music was provided by Tony Slaba.
Nicole Bedoya of Suffolk and Stephanie Marshall of Windsor, friends of the bride, served as the matrons of honor.
Amanda Landrus of Ft. Polk, La., sister-in-law of the bride, and Stephanie Snead of Suffolk, sister of the groom, served as the bridesmaids.
Donald Galford, father of the groom, served as his son’s best man.
Bill Minga of Windsor, stepfather of the bride, Dale Landrus of Ft. Polk, La., brother of the bride, and Michael Snead of Suffolk, brother-in-law of the groom, served as the groomsmen.
Ashlynn and Abigail Landrus of Ft. Polk, La., nieces of the bride, served as the flower girls.
Following the ceremony the bride’s parents hosted a reception at the Walters Ruitan Club in Carrsville.
DJ Tony Slaba provided music at the reception.
On Jan. 26, the bridal party hosted the bride with a bridal shower at the home of Angela and Bill Minga.
On Feb. 16, a honeymoon destination party was hosted for the bride and groom at the home of Dale and Glenie Jones.
On March 15, the groom’s parents hosted the rehearsal dinner for the wedding party at the Walters Ruitan Club. Dinner was provided by Bob Ballinger.
Ashlee is a 2007 graduate of Windsor High School. She is also a 2012 graduate of Paul D. Camp Community College, where she received her associate’s degree in nursing. She is employed at Southampton Memorial Hospital as a registered nurse.
Eric is also a 2007 graduate of Windsor High School. He graduated in 2011 from an apprenticeship school and is employed at Huntington Ingalls Shipbuilding in Newport News as a crane operator.
The couple honeymooned in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee and resides in Windsor with their beloved four-legged baby, “Bella.”
