NSA girls beat Walsingham

The Nansemond-Suffolk Academy girls’ soccer team beat Walsingham 3-2 on Wednesday.

Scoring goals for NSA were Hannah Starkey, Alison Lones and Laura Fisher.

Morgan Davis and Bridget Murphy each had an assist.

NSA girls win 4-2

Nansemond-Suffolk Academy’s girls’ soccer team beat Peninsula Catholic 4-2 on Thursday.

Scoring for the Saints were Morgan Davis, with two, Hannah Starkey with one and Darcy King with one.

Chloe Tillman and Kelly Crossman contributed one assist apiece.

NSA lacrosse wins in Williamsburg

The NSA boys’ varsity lacrosse team came away from Walsingham Academy in Williamsburg on Wednesday with a 17-4 victory.

Ten different players scored goals, including defensemen Ian Jackson and Parker Mizelle and, notching their first career varsity goals, freshmen Noah Dowd and David Forman. Jacob Edwards led all scorers with six goals, and Harris Howell dished out a team-high of five assists.

On Friday, the Saints travel to Richmond to play the Steward School.

NSA wins big in TCIS game

Nansemond-Suffolk Academy’s baseball team won a TCIS matchup 19-1 over Peninsula Catholic on Thursday.

Eighteen NSA players saw action, with 12 of them getting base hits.

Freshman Cole Williams and juniors Steven Minter and Ben Wilson collected their first varsity base hits.

Jake Grady got the win on the mound with three strong innings. Will Breedlove pitched two innings.

Toby Buchanan, Alan Meyers and Jacob Laine each had two hits.
