On Sunday, March 24, God saw that another angel was needed in Heaven and called Mrs. Elsie H. Reid home to receive her wings. Mrs. Elsie, or “Boot,” as we called her, was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to everyone she came in contact with. She dedicated her life to helping anyone who needed a hand. She always made sure all those who entered her home left with a full stomach. She was a member of Pleasant Union Baptist Church until her health began to fail.
