Farmers Bank CEO and Chairman of the Board Richard J. Holland Jr. has announced the promotion of four bank officers.

Patricia T. Allen has been promoted to senior vice president and director of loan operations. Although Allen began her career in nursing, she has spent more than 25 years in service to Farmers Bank.

Her new responsibilities include working closely with lenders and loan assistants and providing Farmers Bank customers with fast and efficient loan closings.

Clayton N. Minter has been promoted to vice president and chief credit officer. Minter has been with Farmers Bank for the past 18 months and has more than eight years of experience in credit management.

He earned his bachelor’s degree in finance and real estate from Old Dominion University. He is certified by Risk Management Association and serves as vice president of RMA’s Hampton Roads chapter. His new responsibilities include developing and managing the credit department.

Thomas L. Woodward III has been promoted to vice president and Suffolk market leader. Woodward has been with Farmers Bank for the past eight years and has been instrumental in loan management.

He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from St. Mary’s College of Maryland and is a graduate of the Virginia Bankers Association School of Bank Management. His new responsibilities include developing and leading the Suffolk market.

Chad A. Rountree has been promoted to vice president and Windsor market leader. Rountree has been with Farmers Bank for the past four and a half years developing agriculture-related business.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in agricultural and applied economics from Virginia Tech and is a graduate of the Virginia Bankers Association School of Bank Management. His new responsibilities include developing and leading the Windsor and Western Tidewater markets.
