Zula M. Hewitt, 83, of Suffolk, Va., and former longtime resident of Portsmouth, Va., passed away March 24, 2011 in her home.

A funeral service will be held Saturday March 26, 2011 at 1 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk, Va., with the Rev. Anthony Ralph officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may join the family for a time of visitation Friday night from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
