Falvey, King to wed

Dr. William D. Falvey and Ms. Emily R. Woodside, of Memphis, Tenn., are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Virginia Woodside Falvey, to William Henry King III. William is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Russell Chaney, of Hernando, Miss., formerly of Suffolk, Va., and the late William Henry King Jr., of Suffolk, Va.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Falvey Jr., of Longview, Texas, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Arthur L. Woodside, of Greenwood, Miss., and Memphis, Tenn. Mr. King is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Collis Lee Bryant Sr., of Petersburg, Va., and Suffolk, Va., the late Mr. and Mrs. William Henry King Sr. of Suffolk, Va.
Miss Falvey graduated from Miss Porter’s School in Farmington, Conn., and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in art semiotics and Latin American studies from Brown University. She is an educational consultant with Fournier Learning Strategies.
Mr. King, a graduate of Collinsville High School in Collinsville, Ill., received a Bachelor of Science degree with honors in business from Virginia Commonwealth University. He is employed by Fidelity National Financial as a senior client manager.
The couple will be married March 1, 2013, in Memphis, Tenn.
