Suffolk rescue teams found two missing bicyclists in the Great Dismal Swamp National Wildlife Refuge barely an hour after getting the call that they were missing.

Suffolk’s 911 dispatch center received a call about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday from a friend of the missing men. She said they had called her from the swamp about 8:30 p.m. and said they were lost.

According to preliminary information, the two men had set out on their bicycles Wednesday afternoon. They were located around 10:30 p.m.
