Mr. Robert Lee Turner, of 1203 FDR Court, Suffolk, departed this earthly life on Feb. 18, 2011. He was born to Mrs. Frances Yates and the late Mabry Turner. He is survived by his loving wife, Vivian Vines Turner, his six daughters, three sons, 19 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, two sisters and one brother. He retired from the Northrop Grumman Shipyard. A funeral of triumph will held on Thursday, Feb. 24, 2011 at noon at the East End Baptist Church, Suffolk. Burial will be in Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. Harris Funeral Home has been entrusted with the service.
