Margaret B. Williams, 90, died Feb. 5, 2011 at Sentara Obici Hospital.

She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Evelyn Bagley. After her mother’s death, her grandmother, Maggie French Lewis, raised her.

Mrs. Williams was a former teacher. She was a member of Suffolk Christian Church.

She is survived by her loving husband, Charles “Red” Williams; daughter Billie Boole Edwards and her husband, Rod, of Windsor; granddaughter Kimberly Brinkley and husband, Bryan; grandson Christopher Newton and wife, Amy; great-granddaughters, Meghan Brinkley and Meadow Newton; Billie’s husband Rod Edwards’ children, Ronda Savel and husband Bob, Wendy Newman, Todd Edwards and wife Wendy, and grandchildren Rachael and April Savel, Nicholas Newman and Jennifer and Charles Edwards; her husband’s children, Donna Schenk and husband Ronnie, of Suffolk, Ronnie Williams and wife, Jo, of Cummings, Ga.; grandchildren, Brian Schenk and wife, Dawn, and Arran Schenk; close family friend, Jeanette Williams; and friends of the staff at Lake Prince Woods.

A graveside service will be conducted at the Forest Lawn Cemetery, 8100 Granby St., Norfolk, VA 23505 on Feb. 9, 2011 at 11 a.m. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. in the Portsmouth Center of Lake Prince Woods by the Rev. Michael Halley and the Rev. Dr. Woodie Rea. The family will receive friends in the R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home and Crematory, 509 W. Washington St., Suffolk, on Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2011 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army or a charity of your choice.
