The cost of doing nothing is too high

To the editor:
The House of Representatives recently passed H.R. 3962, the Affordable Health Care for America Act.
For those are pro-life, they should be the most dedicated advocates to this bill, as it saves the lives of children outside of the womb. For those who enjoy their current health care plan, it shouldn’t matter to you, because you can keep your existing plan.
For those concerned about the cost of the plan, I ask, where was your sense of fiscal responsibility over the last eight years? More importantly, what is the cost involved if nothing is done?
For those who see the ads and believe all of the unsubstantiated claims, remember who is sponsoring them. Finally for those who worry about socialized medicine, ask yourselves this question: Do you want to government to take away Medicaid?
