Marie Olivia Holmes, 71, of Suffolk, Va., passed away Dec. 29, 2010.

Friends may join the family Saturday night from 6 to 7 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk, VA 23434 and other times at the residence. A graveside service will be held on Monday, Jan. 3, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. A celebration of life service will be held following the graveside service at 2 p.m. at Western Branch Community Church with the Rev. Jim Wall officiating.
