Teresa Rochelle Grant, of Newark, Ohio, and Mark Anthony Popik, of Summerville, S.C., were wed on Sept. 18, 2010 at Main Street United Methodist Church in Suffolk, Va.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William T. Schimpf. The groom is the son of Mr. Paul F. Popik and the late Geraldine Catherine Popik.

The Rev. Robert J. Parks Jr. officiated at the ceremony. The bride was given in marriage by her father. Attendants were David Scott Popik, of Chester, Va., brother of the groom, and Ritia Dawn Brown, of Newark, N.J., sister of the bride.

A reception was held at First Lady of Suffolk and the couple will honeymoon in Key West, Fla., in the spring of 2011. The couple lives in Suffolk, Va. The bride is employed by Northrop Grumman Corporation. The groom is employed by the Department of the Navy.
