Larry Keith “Bear” Baker, of the 300 block of Sherwood Drive, is accused of 19 charges related to the molestation of a family acquaintance from March through August, according to Suffolk spokeswoman Diana Klink.
The 13-year-old girl told police she had been photographed nude and that she had been “touched in inappropriate sexual ways on numerous occasions during this time period,” Klink said in a press release announcing the arrest.
The girl allegedly was victimized while visiting Baker’s home in Suffolk.
Baker has been charged with seven counts of taking indecent liberties with a child, six counts of sexual abuse of a child under 15 years old, two counts of aggravated sexual battery and one count each of object sexual penetration, production of child pornography, forcible sodomy and criminal solicitation to commit a felony – indecent liberties, according to the release.
According to Klink, “additional charges are possible, pending further investigation.”
Police are asking that anyone with information about Baker contact Detective Joyce Williams of the Suffolk Police Department by calling 514-7942.
