A teenage girl who disappeared from her home earlier this month has returned home.

Quanisha Baker, 14, had been last seen Oct. 16 in the Nansemond Parkway area. Her mother requested the information be released to the media, city spokeswoman Debbie George said. Police had no reason to suspect foul play, she added.

The girl’s parents notified police Monday Quanisha had returned home, George said on Tuesday.
