Cindee and Richard Cross Jr., of Ivor, Va., are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Tabitha Shelbee Weaver, to Christopher Allen Raines, son of April Hughes, of Windsor and James Raines Sr., of Suffolk.

Tabitha is a 2007 graduate of Windsor High School and 2009 graduate of Paul D. Camp Community College with an associate degree in business administration. She is presently working for Nansemond Pointe Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Suffolk.

Christopher is a 2005 graduate of Windsor High School and recently completed training with the Virginia Air National Guard, based at Langley Air Force Base in Hampton. He is currently employed with Canon in Hampton.

Tabitha is the granddaughter of Anne and Richard Cross Sr., of Virginia Beach, Ruby Ann Weaver, of Suffolk, and the late Henry C. Weaver, and Patricia R. Parker, of Suffolk, and the late Preston E. Parker.

Christopher is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Hughes, of Portsmouth, and Mrs. Donna Beasley, of Portsmouth, and Mr. Billy Raines Sr., of Tennessee.

A wedding is planned for Nov. 13, 2010.
