SMITHFIELD — Shirley Mae Gibbs, 79, passed away on Sept. 10, 2012, at Sentara Obici Hospital. The funeral will be held at Little Zion Baptist Church, Smithfield, Va., on Monday, Sept. 17, 2012, at 1 p.m. Viewing will be Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. at Shivers Funeral Chapel and one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements by Shivers Funeral Chapel, Smithfield.
