The Chorey Park Apartments resident council will hold a gospel extravaganza Saturday.

The event will be held from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the apartments, 804 W. Constance Road.

It will feature the Mighty Pearly Gates, Harmonic Tones, Just Us, Albert and the Boys, Roanoke Rapids Jubilee, Joseph Robertson and others, according to resident council vice president Marshie Woodberry.

“It’s a festival we’re doing especially for the seniors and anybody who wants to come,” Woodberry said. “It’s going to be a fun event.”

Food at the event will include chicken wings and fish, she added.
