Has there ever been a point in your life where you felt so confident of the answer that even when you were told you were wrong you didn’t believe it?

I know that every married man reading this column knows the feeling.

In fact, I still to this day believe the first time I kissed my wife was during a Mardi Gras ball in February 2000. She can say it was at the end of a pier in Fairhope, Ala. but it must have been someone else.

I know that every journalism student in college has felt that way in an English class. The English professor can tell you as much as they want there are two spaces after a period, but don’t tell that to the editor who has threatened to cut off a finger the next time you do it.

There are just points in your life where you know the answer, the answer is right and it doesn’t matter what someone else says.

Such is the case with our “Where am I?” promotion in Suffolk Living. This one page photograph, taken somewhere in Suffolk, is a contest to see just how well you know the city.

And, based on the responses we have received thus far, the answer is … not very well.

The photograph was taken in a public location that is easily accessible to anyone.

Those who provide a correct answer are entered into a drawing where they could receive a gift certificate to any of the participating businesses within the first edition of the magazine.

Over the weeks since the premiere edition of Suffolk Living was made available, responses by the dozens have flooded in and every single one of them has had the same answer. Better yet, let me say they have all had the same wrong answer.

In fact, I have had a few respondents send multiple emails with exactly the same wrong answer.

So as we near the spring edition of Suffolk Living, set to hit stands March 1, I felt I would offer a little tip to ease the process along. So … here it is.

IT IS NOT CEDAR HILL CEMETERY!

There, that should do it. Now that we have narrowed the search, eliminating the only answer provided thus far, we can now move ourselves ever closer to the correct answer.

Again, for those who missed it earlier, the answer to Suffolk Living’s “Where am I?” promotion is NOT CEDAR HILL CEMETERY.
