Flooding, strong thunderstorms affect area

A flood advisory issued by the National Weather Service has expired, but flooded roads could continue throughout the evening.
Areas including Crittenden and Driver experienced flooding, especially along small streams, low-lying areas and areas of poor drainage, according to the warning.
An additional one to two inches of rain are possible, according to the warning, resulting in additional flooding. Thunderstorms are expected to continue throughout the night.
The weather service warns motorists not to drive into areas where water covers the roadway. Flooding should be reported to the National Weather Service by calling 1-800-737-8624. Local law enforcement also should be notified by calling the Suffolk Police Department non-emergency line at 923-2350, extension 0.
