Mr. and Mrs. Carl Outland, of Carrsville, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Lyndsay Morgan Outland, to Trevor Lewis Duke, son of Mr. Lynn Duke, of Carrsville, and Mrs. Jennifer Pitts, of Courtland.

Trevor is the paternal grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Roger Lee Duke and the maternal grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. M. Russell Britt.

Lyndsay is the paternal granddaughter of Mrs. Jean Outland and the late Carlton R. Outland Jr., of Carrsville. She is the maternal granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Dennis E. Perry Jr., of Carrsville.

Lyndsay is a 2007 graduate of Isle of Wight Academy. She will graduate from Southampton Memorial Hospital School of Practical Nursing in September 2012. Trevor is a 2012 graduate of Southside Regional Fire Academy and is employed by the city of Suffolk as a professional firefighter at Station 7 in Holland.

The wedding will take place on Nov. 17, 2012, at Tucker Swamp Baptist Church in Ivor.
