Leota May Heathcoc, 77, of Suffolk, passed away Sept. 11, 2010.

She was born in Oklahoma City, Okla., the daughter of the late Pythina and Thomas Collins.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Willie Marvin Heathcoc of Suffolk; daughters Alice Stringham of Moyock, N.C., Vickie Johnson of Suffolk and Tammie McDunnah of Chesapeake; a son, Lester Heathcoc of Newport News; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a sister.

Services will be private.
