Mr. Claude Thornton, 727 Kilby Ave., departed this earthly on Aug. 6, 2012. A funeral of triumph will be held on Saturday, Aug. 11, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Lakeview Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Harris Funeral Home has been entrusted with the home going service.
