SUFFOLK — Francis John Gaik, Sept. 23, 1940 to Sept. 3, 2010, passed away at home with his family by his side following a courageous battle with cancer on Sept. 3, 2010.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 10 at Baker-Foster Funeral Home, Bennett’s Creek Chapel, 5685 Lee Farm Lane, Suffolk, VA 23435. Interment will follow with military honors at Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, 5310 Milners Road, Suffolk, Va. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service starting at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Cancer Society in Mr. Gaik’s name.
