Billie L. Silver of 106 S. Lloyd St. departed this earthly life on Sept. 4, 2010.

He was predeceased by his parents, Percy and Ida Ward Silver. He is survived by his wife, Pattie F. Silver, his five children, a brother and a host of other relatives.

A funeral of triumph will be held at the New First Baptist Church, Hosier Road, on Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2010, at noon, with the Rev. Dr. Lemuel Greene officiating. Burial will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Harris Funeral Home has been entrusted with the service.
