McClenny, Kelly to wed

Mr. and Mrs. Oscar R. McClenny Jr. of Franklin are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Anne Marie McClenny to Brandon Eugene Kelly.
Ms. McClenny is the graduate of Virginia Tech and Liberty University where she earned her master’s degree in human services and executive leadership. She is employed with Zeiders Enterprises Inc. in Norfolk as an education services facilitator.
She is the maternal granddaughter of the late Benjamin Charles and Ann Thomlin Gray and the paternal granddaughter of the late Oscar Redell and Johnnie Mae McClenny Jr., all of Courtland.Mr. Kelly is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde E. Kelly Jr. of Suffolk. He is a graduate of Tidewater Community College, where he earned his associate’s degree in computer aided drafting and design. He is employed with Huntington Ingalls Industries in Newport News as a designer for the Reactor Plant Planning Yard.
He is the maternal grandson of the late William Lee Brinkley and Marjorie D. Brinkley of Suffolk. He is the step-grandson of Benjamin R. Copeland Jr., also of Suffolk. He is the paternal grandson of Clyde Eugene and Virginia B. Kelly of Ocean Springs, Miss.
The couple will be wed Oct. 20, at Hunterdale Baptist Church in Franklin.
