Suffolk Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Milton Liverman just released a proposed $148 million school budget. That is $1.8 million less than 2009’s spending plan, but requires local funds stay level.

The system has planned 1:30 p.m. Thursday meeting to go over the budget’s details.
