SHELBY, N.C. – Kelsey Wynn Sloan, infant daughter of Chris and Denise Horton Sloan, of 307 Pleasant Ridge Church Road, Shelby, passed away on Friday, Feb. 13, 2009.
Kelsey is preceded in death by her grandfather, Jerry Sloan.
Kelsey is also survived by her brothers, Camden and Cayson Sloan; paternal grandmother, Linda Sloan, of Statesville; maternal grandfather, Talbort Horton, of Whaleyville, Va., and maternal grandmother, Judy Horton, of Suffolk, Va.; aunts and uncles, Kim and Jeremy Pennell, of Statesville, Cindy and Marco Kassera, of Germany, and Travis and Emily Horton, of Gaffney.
Memorial services will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2009 at Zoar Baptist Church with Dr. Robert Rose officiating. Burial will be private.
McKinney-Landreth Funeral Home is serving the Sloan family.
