Jean Frieson

Mrs. Jean B. Frieson, of Chesapeake (formerly of Suffolk), went into eternal sleep on May 2, 2009, in Sentara Nursing Home. She was predeceased by her parents, William and Clara Judge Boykins.
She was a member of Antioch UCC, Suffolk. She retired from Bronx Redevelopmental Center.
Her survivors include her husband, Herbert Frieson (Debra), of Chesapeake, one daughter, Helen Williams (Vernon), of Portsmouth, two sons, Herbert Frieson Jr., of Chesapeake, and Anthony Bazemore (Lasonia), of Bronx, New York, one sister, Louise Boose (Tommy), of Corapeake, N.C., William “Bill” Boykins (Janie), of Chesapeake, Carlton Boykins (Priscilla), of New York, and George Boykins (Maxine), of Suffolk, seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A funeral of triumph will be held on Friday, May 8, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. at the Antioch UCC Church, Kilby and Hull avenues (Saratoga), Suffolk. Burial will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, May 7, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Harris Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the residence, 3912 Lakeview Drive, Chesapeake, Va.
