SUFFOLK — Robert James Jones Sr., 82, of 310 Oak St., peacefully passed away Monday, Aug. 10, 2009 at Sentara Obici Hospital.
Mr. Jones will be on view from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 16 at the funeral home. The family will receive visitors at all other times at the residence of Albert Jones, 200 S. Division St. A service of remembrance will take place at noon Monday, Aug. 17 in the Melvin R. Boone Chapel of T.E. Cooke-Overton Funeral Home. Interment will immediately follow in the T.E. Cooke-Overton Garden of Carver Memorial Cemetery.
