Lake Prince Woods, a nonprofit, full-service retirement community operated as a ministry by United Church Homes and Services, is expanding, and officials there plan a “hardhat tour” on Friday to share their plans.

Four villa homes are under being built in the community, located on 172 acres bordering Lake Prince off of King’s Fork Road. The Laurel Villa under construction includes a sky-lit kitchen, screened porch and patio and a deluxe master suite with two closets and double sinks in 1,505 square feet of living space.

The popular Rappahannock Cottage also will be open for tour. The Rappahannock features 1,520 square feet of living space, including two bedrooms, living room, breakfast nook, kitchen and expanded sunroom options.
