Toccara Boone

Toccara “Trecy” Patrice Boone, 27, was born on Dec. 11, 1981 to Sonya Boone and Willie Linton in Suffolk, Va. A native of Suffolk, she attended Nansemond River High School. She was employed by Suffolk Public School System as a bus driver for five years, a job she loved and took pride in doing.
During the early morning hours of Saturday, Nov. 14, God released his loving angels and welcomed home into his arms, our beloved Toccara “Trecy” Patrice Boone.
She leaves behind to cherish her beautiful memory, her two sons, Keshawn Boone and Antoine Richardson Jr.; daughter, Aniyah Richardson; parents, Sonya Boone and Willie Linton, sister, Christi Sessoms, maternal grandmother, Shirley Boone; paternal grandmother, Edna Linton; three aunts, Rhonda Boone, Patricia Cook (Jeffrey), Vera Linton; five uncles, Lavoy Scott, Vance Boone Jr., Calneet Linton, Garrett Linton, Paxton Linton; devoted friend Antoine Richardson Sr.; and a host of loving relatives and friends.
Miss Boone will be on view from noon to 7 p.m., Friday, Nov. 20 at the funeral home. The family will receive guests at 502 Waterway Court at all other times. A service of remembrance will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 21 in the Rev. Melvin R. Boone Chapel of T.E. Cooke-Overton Funeral Home, Inc. Miss Boone will be laid to rest in the T.E. Cooke-Overton Garden of Carver Memorial Cemetery.
