Erma L. Carrington, our loved one, went to eternal rest Nov. 27, 2009 at Obici Sentara Hospital. She was an educator in the public school system for 29 years. She is predeceased by her father, Lindsay M. Rodgers Sr., mother, Ethel B. Rodgers, brother, Lindsay M. Rodgers Jr., niece, Sangrial L. Jordan. She is survived by a daughter, Kapree A.Carrington, two sisters, Yvonne B. Jordan, Esther M. Mason, brother, Sylvester W. Rodgers, a niece, Eursula Hall, and several nephews, a dear family friend, Vera Linton, and family, devoted friends, Darlene Lascanos, Carolyn Alexander, Michelle Blount and G. Watson. A graveside service will be held Thursday, Dec. 3, 2009 at 1 p.m. at Carver Memorial Cemetery. The family will assemble at the grave sight at 12:45 p.m. There will not be a public viewing.
