Ruth D. Strong, 62, of 6645 Everets Road, died December 21, 2009, at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. She was a native of Nansemond County and a former employee of QVC and General Electric Co.
A funeral was held Monday at Little Bethel Baptist Church, officiated by the Rev. Bernard Thomas. Interment was in Oakland Cemetery. Condolences may be extended to the family at crockerfuneralhome.com.
