Katherine E. Goodwin, 68, of Smithfield, died Jan. 3, 2010, at Sentara Obici Hospital. A native of Nansemond County, she was the First Lady at Prayer Mission Baptist Church in Smithfield.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at Mt. Lebanon C.O.G.I.C., officiated by the Rev. Ronald Goodwin and Pastor Larry Gray. Interment will be in Christian Home Cemetery in Windsor.
